Former Minister of Aviation and a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC has condemned the beating of school pupils and teachers in Enugu state by alleged footsoldiers of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Taking to his social page to react to the video of some men flogging some children and a teacher who failed to obey the sit-at-home order given by Simon Ekpa, Biafra agitator.

In the video, the men questioned the pupil why they were in school after a sit-at-home directive was issued.

The pupils were seen weeping as the men flogged them mercilessly.

This comes after Simon Ekpa announced a sit-at-home order in the South East in a bid to force the federal government to release it leader, Nnamdi Kanu from custody.

Reacting to the viral video, Fani Kayode expressed his disgust at the act as he described it as barbaric.

In his post, he compared the IPOB footsoldiers to Boko Harm and ISWAP terrorists and called the behaviour of the men on the pupils as evil.

"Behold the works of the armed wing of the Obidient movement all in the name of Biafra. Enugu was relatively peaceful whilst Gburugburu was there but now we are witnessing this savage barbarity against children. I am at a loss for words. This is pure evil. Are these Biafran/Obidient footsoldiers any better than Boko Haram and ISWAP? Such wickedness is rarely seen and I wholeheartedly condemn it.
Something must be done!" Fani Kayode tweeted.
