Barça youngster Balde sparks controversy with recent Instagram posts on Burna Boy, Davido

Recent Instagram posts by Barcelona's wonderkid Alejandro Balde have raised eyebrows among fans on social media.

The 19-year-old shared two different pictures taken with Burna Boy and Davido following their recent performances at the Afro Nation Portugal.

The Barcelona left-back captioned his first IG post with Burna Boy with a goat emoji while captioning his photograph with Davido with a fire emoji.

Many fans have concluded that the young defender has tipped Burna Boy as a better musician than Davido.

Burna Boy was the headline artist on the first day of the Afro Nation Portugal concert whereas Davido performed as the headline artist on the last day.

This comes against the backdrop of Davido's recent comment describing Burna Boy as a new cat.

OBO in an interview stated that he and Wizkid were the first young artists to have blown up in the Nigerian music industry.

His comment sparked controversies among many followers of the two musical greats on various social media platforms.

Balde was phenomenal for Xavi Hernandez's side last season, helping the Catalans to win La Liga and the Supercopa de Espana.

His remarkable performance for the Blaugranas has earned him a nomination for the 2022/2023 Golden Ball Award.
