CBN has not devalued the naira

The Central Bank of Nigeria has refutes claims that it has devalued the naira from N461.6 to N631 per dollar.

According to Daily Trust in an earlier publication, the devaluation happened days after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced plans to unify the country’s exchange rate in other to improve the economy.

However, Arise Television, during a live telecast revealed that the report was false and the general public should ignore such publication.
