YouTuber, Emdee Tiamiyu has apologised to Nigerians over an interview he granted the BBC, where he said many Nigerians come into the United Kingdom under the guise to study.

He also mentioned that some Nigerians immediately abandon their school program to pursue a better life.

Following the backlashes on social media, Tiamiyu shared a video of himself apologising for an inconveniences caused.

According to him, his reasons for granting the interview was to highlight the challenges been faced by the Black Community at home and in the UK.

He noted that his apology was based on self reflection and that he had no motive for speaking the way he did.

"If you have seen the interview slash feature, I am sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. If what you have seen been circulated, what you watched has made you uncomfortable in anyway at all, I want to say that I am deeply and sincerely sorry," he said.
