Dangote, Otedola, Elumelu are not idiots, they see wealth in Nigeria; stop relocating - Social media user

A writer, Praise George has raised concerns over the amount of Nigerians who relocate abroad to find greener pastures.

Taking to his Twitter page, George cited the likes of billionaire Alike Dangote, Femi Otedola and Tony Elumelu who see wealth in Nigeria.

According to him, while several Nigerians are desperately leaving the country, the famous billionaires are seeking avenues to create wealth from the resources in Nigeria.

He tweeted;

"Dangote, Elumelu and Otedola are ready to die in Nigeria. They see wealth in Nigeria.

But Millions of Nigerians are rushing to migrate to Canada. They see poverty in Nigeria.

Dangote, Otedola, Elumelu are not idiots. They see what 90% of Nigerians do not see."

In another tweet he said; "I have never heard Elumelu, Otedola, Adenuga, Dangote, etc, say that Nigeria is a poor country.

It is because they wake up daily seeing opportunities to make billions of dollars in the country. They know it is easier to become wealthy in Nigeria than anywhere else in the world."

George in his submission said that it is only broke people who escape the country and people should think twice before relocating abroad.

"Broke people are trying to escape from a country, but some people are making plans to prosper in that same country, a wise person should think twice before following the crowd of broke people.
Broke people say Nigeria is bad.
Dangote says it is good.
Who do you believe?"

However, some Nigerians disagreed with the writer as they slam him for residing outside Nigeria and given advise to people based in country.

Below are some comments;

daddyfreeze: Written by someone who lives abroad?

monalisa.stephen: And you Dey abroad . I be wan japa before na @officialasiwajubat give me Hope sha

babajideedges1: A very flawed take!
You don’t compare Otedola, Adenuga, Elumelu, Adeleke & the rest to an average Nigerian who’s looking few millions to relocate to a predictable country to enjoy the basics & build for his/her kids. Basics are largely unavailable in Nigeria - good heathcare, security, road, fairness, even a dependable judiciary.
Many of these billionaires’ pedigree wealth, economic & political influence & power can be traced down to their great grandfathers. Their reality aren’t the same as that of many Nigerians.

flodoskii: Sometimes it’s not just the money , security nko ? Healthcare nko ? ….. anyway for Nigeria everything na money

pappythrill: NO VEX OGA FOLLOW FOLLOW. Since you Dey Nigeria dey follow Dangote and Otedola, you still never become billionaire. Dey play. I great you sir. #Vibes
