Popular on-air-personality, Rufai Oseni has jumped to the defense of Daniel Bwala, spokesperson for the Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign council after he was called out on the social media platform, Twitter over a video he shared.

Bwala, who is a member of the legal team of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) shared a video of another lawyer opening the door as he got down from the car on his arrival at the presidential election petition tribunal on Monday, May 9.

He captioned the video: "We are here, the D day. Officially commenced today. We pray for a peaceful and professional presidential election proceedings"

The video shared on his Twitter generated mixed reactions with many accusing him of breaking Rule 26 of the Rules of Professional Conduct in the legal profession which states that; "Lawyer shall treat one another with respect".

Responding to the issues on the What's Trending Segment of Morning Show, Rufai said that he had spoken to Daniel earlier, seeking his side of the story.

"I called Daniel this morning and this was his side of the story. He said as the case started they have been going back and forth politically with the opposition and he deliberately posted to say, okay the D-day has come before the case."

"But he said the person that the door for him was his in-law and his relative of his. The person was a lawyer too but was a relative too."
