Arise TV co-host, Rufai Oseni has reacted to the Federal Governments' reluctance to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra after he was discharged by the Appeal Court in October 2022.

Rufai made the comment on What's Trending on Friday, April 28.

According to him, despite not supporting agitation and violence, the ruling of the court must be obeyed.

"There are two sides to this. Number one I don't support any inciting violence in the country but when you go and look back at the agitations, it started with the marginalization of the Igbos and we can't deny that fact."

"We had another taste of it during the election in Lagos but I didn't support Nnamdi Kanu while he was away and jump bail inciting violence but secondly for you to build a country, there must be rule of law. The Appeal Court has said, let this man be, you violated the court, but when President Buhari say forgive me all my sins, he has violated the court."

"Like someone said this morning, Buhari should be able to tell us what are his sins this morning before he tells us to forgive him. And one of them will be violating court order."
