Stranded Nigerians in Sudan have expressed worry over their current predicament in Sudan.

Since the Sudan war broke out, several nationals and foreigners have fled the country following the clashes between Sudan's military and the country's main paramilitary force.

Speaking to one of the Nigerians in Sudan, Imran Jameel, a writer, he noted that he alongside over 2,000 Nigerians are stranded.

According to him, they find it difficult to get food to eat as they fear for their lives amid the ongoing gun shots being heard in the area.

He explained that they have been waiting for the buses to arrive from morning but to no avail. Adding that those who were taken have been left stranded in the Sahara desert with the bus drivers claiming they have not been paid.

Jameel raised concerns over the number of vehicles that has been provided, saying they are not enough to transport all of them to Khartoum where they will be airlifted to Nigeria.

They are appealing to the Nigerian government to come to their aid.
