How can a perceived loser be hailed as if he is a champion - Fayose

Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, has taken to his social media page to share a video of Nigerians hailing Peter Obi as he made his way to a venue.

Sharing his stance on why the All Progressives Congress APC, thinks Peter Obi of the Labour Party is still campaigning, he noted that the constant praises and show of love the presidential candidate receives from Nigerians is impressive.

According to him, Peter Obi has always been seen receiving accolades from people wherever he goes as if he won the presidential election.

On his Instagram page he wrote;

"This is one of the reasons APC is saying Peter Obi is still campaigning because they don’t get this type of treatment for free. They are wondering what kind of man is Peter Obi, how can a perceived loser be receiving this kind of treatment for free

This is why they are not comfortable, having sleepless nights, saying Peter Obi is a threat to them and democracy. How can someone going about his normal activities be a threat to APC if not that they are not at rest, they have no peace of mind?

They expected people to feel sorry for him, but instead the people are hailing him as if he is the champion, as if he won the election. They don’t care."

Recall that on March 1,2023. the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared Bola Tinubu of the APC, the winner of the 2023 general election with Atiku Abubakar coming second and Peter Obi third.

Following the outcome of the election, Peter Obi is contesting the process and the outcome that produced Bola Tinubu as the president-elect.

Many Nigerians have also expressed disappointment at the electoral body with many saying the election lacked transparency and was rigged in favour of Bola Tinubu due to the numerous irregularities that occurred.
