'People go where the mango is ripe' - Rufai Oseni's advice to Tinubu as he celebrate his 71st birthday

Popular on-air-personality, Rufai Oseni has cautioned president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be wary of praise singers as he prepares to become the number one citizen of the country.

Oseni's advise to the former Lagos governor comes as he celebrates his 71st birthday on Wednesday, March 29 (today).

The real age of Tinubu became a contentious issue before the APC presidential primaries and the February 25 presidential elections.

While finality hasn't been brought to the matter yet, official records state that Tinubu March 29, 1952, in Lagos.

Speaking on the What's Trending segment of the morning show on Arise TV on Wednesday, March 29, Rufai stressed that Tinubu must surround himself with people who have his best interest at heart.

"It's in the season, and people will write songs, all do all sorts and everything but if I can give him one piece of advice, he is president-elect that is why everyone is gravitating towards him. He should be wary of people because people only go where the mango is ripe to suck."

"He should bring closer to him, people that can tell the truth about him, and not praise singers everywhere because now that he is president, he will have all of them everywhere."
