Bola Ahmed Tinubu's real age revealed

The winner of the 2023 presidential election as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu is celebrating his 71st birthday today, March 29, 2023.

Tinubu who is a politician, husband, father and leader to many, has come under scrutiny with regards to his age.

Although there are reports that he is indeed the age he claims to be, others defer as a result of health status, physique, among others.

An old article published by Sahara Reporters in 2012, claimed that Bola Tinubu was 69-years-old at the time, which will mean that in the present year 2023, the president-elect is 80-years-old.

The article still remains on the website despite other media portals report that Tinubu was in 2012, 60-years-old which will mean that he is presently 71-years-old.

The controversy about his age continue to put doubts in the minds of Nigerian following his recent trip to the United Kingdom. Although his team claim the newly-elected leader was travelling to rest after it was revealed that Tinubu secretly flew to the UK for medical care following the rigorous election.

Bola Tinubu popularly known as JAGABAN, Last Man Standing and the godfather of Lagos among others, is a strong-willed man who led Lagos state as a two time governor and helped many other governors attain power in various states in the country; including having a hand in President Muhammadu Buhari’s success as a head of state.

His influence as a leader continues to impact many lives and aspire the youths.

Since his victory, he has promised to include both the youths and the women in his administration and select his appointees based on character and competence over tribe and religion.

He will be sworn-in as President of Nigeria on May 29, 2023.
