How the MC introduced Obasanjo at Soludo one year anniversary celebration

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was one of the guests of Governor Chukwuma Soludo who recently celebrated his first year in office as governor.

Among the dignitaries were former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party LP in the February 25 election, Mr Peter Obi, first civilian governor of the state, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu who was chairman of the occasion, leaders of the various political parties in the country, including the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the state, Chief Victor Oye.

The magnificent International Convention Center in Awka was filled to capacity as the governor reeled out his achievements in the last year.

In Obasanjo’s administration which spanned from 1999 to 2007, Soludo served as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Speaking at an event in Anambra State to commemorate Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s one year in office, Obasanjo recalled his work with the professor of economics as well as the current Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

One thing that caught the attention of many, however was how he was introduced by the Master of Ceremony.
