Brazilian football legend, Ronaldinho Gaucho says that Jay-Jay Okocha for his decision to move to the Premier League in 2002 from Paris Saint-Germain was a waste of talent.

Okocha was the captain of the Super Eagles at the time.

During his time at PSG, Ronaldinho had made it clear that he learned many football skills from the Nigerian midfielder.

According to Ronaldinho, Okocha's move to Bolton Wanderers was a waste of talent.

The Super Eagles legend was at Paris Saint-Germain from 1998 to 2002 scoring 12 goals in 84 games before he left.

According to the report on Complete Sports, Ronaldinho explained that Okocha should have moved to Spain or Italy.

“Jay Jay Okocha, wow!! That man made football to listen to him. At training, we would watch him doing a freestyle, whatever he wanted to do, the ball would do it. But his problem is that he was too keen to move to England.

“I didn’t like the decision, at least in Italy or Spain, there, they allow you to play your skilled football without interfering with your play. In La Liga or Serie A, he would definitely get a chance to play for a big team, because they love skilled players over there."
