Ayo Fayose lambasts AriseTV for criticizing Wike

The former governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has confirmed has called out Arise Television for constantly criticising Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike.

He said this while explaining how he and other chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worked for the emergence of Bola Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 25 presidential election.

Speaking in an interview on Arise TV Thursday, March 23, the PDP chieftain said' that "if you say some section of the people of a country does not matter, they will tell you they matter."

Narrating what led to the fall out of the G-5 Governors, led by Nyesom Wike and the defeat of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP, at the just concluded election.

Fayose said the former vice president did not make any move on the formation of the G5-Governors.

He also stated that Atiku remained silent when Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party left the PDP.

However, in the course of his speech, chastised Arise Television for acting like an opposition in the build-up to the presidential election and took a swipe at the presenter, Rufai Oseni, for allegedly taking personal issues against the politicians he did not like or support.

Rufai in his response said he has always been objective in his analyses.
