Chimaroke Nnamani says he is 'batified' after losing senatorial district on the ticket of PDP

Former Enugu State Governor, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani says he is still "batified" despite losing his senatorial re-election.

The former Senate President lost his re-election bid to Labour Party candidate, Sir Kelvin Chukwu.

He contested the Enugu East Senatorial district under the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The LP candidate polled 69, 136 while Chimaroke scored 48, 701 votes.

"Still Batified!! ebeanoFAM #Chimaroke," he tweeted in the early hours of Monday, March 20.

Kelvin replaced his brother, Oyibo Chukwu, who was murdered a few days before the Feb. 25 presidential and National Assembly elections.

Sir Kelvin Chukwu is the younger brother of Oyibo Chukwu who was murdered days before the 2023 Presidential election.
