'Obi's influence in dangerous' - Nnamani drags Peter Obi after losing his Senatorial seat to LP candidate

Former Governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani has described Peter Obi's influence in politics as "dangerous".

The former senator made this known in a tweet after losing his senatorial reelection bid in Enugu East Senatorial district to Labour Party candidate, Sir Kelvin Chukwu.

The LP candidate polled 69, 136 to beat Chimaroke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored 48, 701 votes.

"Peter "Gringory" Obi has set the Igbo political trajectory 24 years back.He has become a twin Blight &Scourge on the Land.His devious Opium served to Christians within sections of Nigeria and to Igbo domiciled in different sections of Nigeria is wicked and dangerous.#Chimaroke<" he said in a tweet.

Kelvin replaced his brother, Oyibo Chukwu, who was murdered a few days before the Feb. 25 presidential and National Assembly elections.

Sir Kelvin Chukwu is the younger brother of Oyibo Chukwu who was murdered days before the 2023 Presidential election.
