Labour Party, APC supporters smile and greet each other during campaign

A video has emerged of some Labour Party and All Progressives Congress supporters smiling and greeting each other as they embarked on their various campaigns prior to the governorship election in Lagos.

In the video, these supporters were seen on the streets peacefully campaigning. Without any animosity the two supporters greeted one other saying "one love".

Supporters of the Labour Party held on placards of governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour with some wearing the party t-shirts with Peter Obi face on it, while supporters of the APC wore party t-shirts with the face of Sanwo-Olu printed on it.

They both waved at each other in familiarity as they walked pass on the streets of Lagos.

Prior to this, there has been banter on social media between the two parties who are contesting various positions.

The fierce battle for power has seen some supporters trade words over their preferred candidates contesting the election.

Reacting to gestures made by both supporters, netizens have taken to social media to share their thoughts.
