President-elect Bola Tinubu arrives polling unit to cast his vote

The President-elect, Bola Tinubu has arrived at his polling unit in Ikeja, Lagos state to exercise his franchise.

Photos made available showed Tinubu being accredited by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, agents before casting his ballot.

It is known that Tinubu is fully backing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is seeking re-election.

Upon his arrival, Tinubu was swarmed by reporters who were determine to capture him cast his vote for his preferred candidate.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu is contesting the 2023 governorship election alongside his contenders Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party and Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The APC is hoping to retain control of Lagos state after Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi beat Tinubu who is known as the godfather of Lagos to secure majority of the votes in the presidential election.

This almost brought a divine between the Igbos and Yoruba who claim Lagos is not a no man's land.
