'We're not only leading the race, we're also winning' - Rhodes-Vivour

Governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has asserted that the Labour party is not only in the lead but also winning the election.

The guber candidate made this statement on his Twitter page on Friday, March 17.

This comes after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos guber candidate, Olajide Adediran, stated that Lagos needs a governor who is independent and capable of making his own decisions.

In an interview with TV host Chude Jideonwo, Adediran, also known as Jandor, stated that for Lagos to reach its full potential, a governor who "need second-level approval to get things done" must be chosen.

Jandor's statement did not sit well with Gbadebo as he took to his Twitter page to dispute what Jandor had said stating that his party (Labour Party) were not only leading in the guber race but they are also winning.
