The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has expressed confidence in the Nigerian judiciary, saying that they will do the right thing.

Recall that Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress was declared winner, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party coming second, and Peter Obi of polled third, the Opposition parties have stated that they will go to court.

Peter Obi publicly revealed his intentions to contest the process of the election and the results of the just concluded presidential election.

Speaking during an interview with Channels Television, on Thursday, March 16, Peter Obi noted that he will win in the court as he trusts the judiciary.

He said; "I can tell you, its not about proving whether I won, it is a question that the election has issues and those issues will be sorted out in court. I will be shocked if this country goes on with that situation. It will then stand that its a complete criminalized country. We can't allow it. We need to start unbundling this criminality. And that is what people were talking about structure. When they were advertising structure or no structure, it is this criminality and fraud that we witness that they are talking about and we want to unbundle it for the sake of our future."
