'Baba don play bet' - Reactions as Dino gives 25 PDP Kogi Assembly candidates N12.5M support

The spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Dino Melaye has donated N500,000 to each of the PDP's 25 candidates in Kogi State for the forthcoming Governorship and State House of Assembly election which is scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2023.

The PDP candidates in the state's 21 local government areas have received a total of N12.5 million in funding in advance of the governorship and state house of assembly elections.

The development has seen many Nigerians taking to social media to express their opinions.

Some people believed that the chieftain did that because he knows the benefits he would receive when those candidates win the election stating that he did it for hisnownn personal gains.

Others, also inquired about the source of that money, asking whether it was from his pocket or the PDP campaign, noting that his salary won't sum to that amount.
