Women in Ikorodu have staged a protest after selling their votes on credit to the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in the just concluded presidential election.

The women hit the streets to lament that the APC has failed to fulfil the payments which was promised them prior to the election.

The angry women who are disappointed claim they were told that they will settle them with cash after the election if they voted for Bola Tinubu.

However, after Tinubu was declared winner of the election, no payment has been made.

“We Ikorodu People came out in mass and we are the main reason Why APC got so much vote and almost won Peter Obi in Lagos, But we have not been paid yet, we are not going to vote for APC on Saturday, if we are not paid our owed money with immediate effect," Women say after selling their votes on credit.

The video of the women protesting has hit the internet and many social media users are sharing their thoughts.

Many are disappointed that these women sold the future of their children on credit.
