The Lagos state gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has revealed that the party is heading to court to contest the 2023 presidential election results.

On Wednesday, March 1, the Independent National Electoral Commission chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu declared Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress the winner of the election.

Reacting to the declaration made by INEC at 4:00am, GRV as he is known said the Labour Party has all the results from the polling units and that plans are underway to counter the results which made Bola Tinubu the president-elect.

He said this while encouraging Nigerians not to relent and come out to vote for him in the upcoming governorship election on March 11.

The Labour Party and other political parties has raise concerns over the inability of INEC to upload all the results in real time as earlier announced to the public.

Also several polling units were marred with violence, chaos, snatching of ballot boxes among others.

The international observers mission when delivering their preliminary findings on the Nigeria election said it lacked transparency.
