'The enemy of my enemy is my friend' - Obidients applaud Dino Melaye for challenging INEC results

Dino Melaye, spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party has challenged the Ekiti state results declared by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), at the national collation centre in Abuja.

During the live coverage of the 2023 general election declaration of the winner, Dino refutes the results pronouncing Bola Tinubu as the winner of Ekiti state.

According to Dino, the Ekiti state results do not coincide with the results the PDP got from the polling unit as he called for a cancel of the declaration.

Responding to Dino's accusation, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), ask the PDP spokesperson why his party refused to bring up these discrepancies during the various stages of presentation.

Dino claim INEC has failed to upload all available results onto the INEC portal before declaring the results of the election.

This caused a confrontation between the PDP spokesperson and the INEC chairman.

The collation centre has gone on an interlude to be back to resume the declaration of states results.

Reacting to the abruption of the collation centre, some supporters of the Labour Party took to social media to share their thoughts.
