Obidients react as Peter Obi sweeps Lagos clean with 582,354 votes

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has defeated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress flagbearer in the presidential election in Lagos election.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, Peter Obi won against Tinubu, a former two-time Lagos state governor.

This will be first time in 24 years another that another party has won Lagos state.

Peter Obi won with 582,454 votes for Labour Party, while Tinubu’s polled 572,606 for the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar emerged third in the exercise.

After votes were counted in all 20 LGAs in the state, Peter Obi was declared winner, defeating Bola Tinubu, the god father of Lagos.
