Peter Obi is in high spirit - Popular investigative journalist says

Popular investigative journalist, David Hundeyin has said that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party is in high spirits.

The founder of West Africa Week mentioned in a tweet that he spoke to the former Anambra governor on the night of Sunday, February 26.

He noted that the APC have "no legal path to victory"

"I spoke to Peter Obi last night and from what I could gather, he is in great spirits. Unlike previously when electoral malpractice and vote rigging were mere allegations, there is a surfeit of unimpeachable evidence this time around. APC has no legal path to victory," he said.

His tweet comes after Peter Obi defeated the former Lagos governor in his own turf.

This was based on the collation of results at the Independent National Electoral Commission Lagos State collation center in Yaba.

Though Tinubu won more local government areas, Obi defeated him with most of the votes.

All the results of the 20 local governments have been declared. Tinubu won in 11, while Obi won in nine local government areas.

With the results declared, Obi polled 582,664, while Tinubu scored 541,850.

I spoke to Peter Obi last night and from what I could gather, he is in great spirits.

Unlike previously when electoral malpractice and vote rigging were mere allegations, there is a surfeit of unimpeachable evidence this time around.
