'God go purnish you' - Fire for FFK as he calls on PDP not to set Nigeria on fire

Femi Fani-Kayode, the Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has come under intense scrutiny on social media after he warned the Peoples Democratic Party against inciting violence as the results of the elections trickle in.

FFK, who has led the charge for the Atiku/Shettima Organisation said in a post on his Instagram page that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had done no wrong following heavy criticism that the electoral body might be in bed with the ruling party.

He wrote: "INEC has done no wrong. Those that are threatening fire because they lost must reign in their tongues, accept defeat and stop their threats. Do not set Nigeria on fire, do not provoke us, do not ignite a war and do not start something you cannot finish. WE WILL DEFEND OUR MANDATE."

His comment was in reaction to an allegation by Dino Melaye, the spokesperson of the Atiku/Okowa campaign.

In a post on his, Instagram showed some people thumb-printing ballot papers for the ruling party.
