Many hours after the official close of voting in the country, several hundreds of voters are still queued up in places in Abuja, awaiting their time to cast their votes.

This, according to punchng.com, has extended the voting in these areas to well over 7:00 PM.

More specifically, there were queues seen at the Arab Road Water Board Junction Settlement Polling Unit, Kubwa, Abuja.

The hopeful electorates are seen waiting for their turns.

There had been several reports in many parts of the country where officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had not arrived at polling units many hours after the start of voting.

Voting officially started at 8:30 AM across the country and was expected to end at 2;30 PM.
