Not the kind of scenes that are seen mostly on election days, but a nonagenarian woman has come out to cast her vote in the ongoing Nigerian elections.

Beaming with smiles, the 92-year-old, who gave her name as Victoria Dada, said that she stepped out to cast her vote because she wants to see a change in the country’s political leadership.

She added that she wants a change of leadership better than the current one led by President Buhari Muhammadu.

She also said that she is hopeful that the new leader of Nigeria will be a person who can take care of all Nigerians, especially school children and the elderly.

She spoke to the Guardian’s IJEOMA THOMAS-ODIA and ISAAC TAIWO after casting her votes at WARD D1 in Abesan Estate, Ipaja, Lagos.

She is said to be the oldest person in her community.
