Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) has taken a jab at the presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking in an interview after voting at his polling unit, Sowore said the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) won't border to come to his polling unit because they know he doesn't engage in vote buying.

His comment comes after the antigraft agency raided the polling unit of the former Lagos governor in the early hours of the day.

"The EFCC people go to candidates who are likely to be engaged in money laundering and vote buying. They know I won't buy votes. It would have been a waste of their time, money, energy and resources to be going after an anti-corruption fighter who is trying to save the country.

"I think they know better where to go."

He further noted that he doesnt believe in electoral violence.

"I don't belong to the category of people who believe in electoral violence but I will also say that we can't make any conclusive remarks until the elections are."
