A section of social media has been reacting to a video where some eligible voters in Ogun confessed to receiving cash from Governor Dapo Abiodun.

With the Presidential and National Assembly Elections six days away, the political temperature is heightened.

The redesigned naira policy initiated by the Central Bank of Nigeria has made it quite impossible for Nigerians to access cash despite the availability of funds in their banks.

In the video that has since gone viral, the three women showed they had received some money as they counted the old N1000 notes.

Reactions

benrichieofficial: "For once in the last 8years, I say, H.E President Buhari, thank you and God bless for this Naira redesign policy."

sfojoemmanuela: "These are nonpartisan residents of Ogun State whom the Governor met whilst visiting one of the commercial banks in Abeokuta."

Giving them money isn't illegal and it was done out of a pure and concerned heart that's pretty much aware of what our people are passing through as a result of the cash crunch.

reganf4510: "You will suffer for the next 8 years you and your kids and unborn kids sef"

isaac_shadrach: "Of course, this is the reason them all are shouting about the money policy.. Shame. We go collect una money still vote who we wan vote. After all,na our money"

poundzing2022: "This is totally set up by pdp"

59.90.61: "Until we realise the Governors are the REAL enemies of the people, na here we go dh"
