The mega rally held by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi on Saturday, February 11 has generated some talking points.

From the massive crowd that attended the event to the attacks on supporters to the performance by veteran musicians P-Square, the rally was generally described as a success.

While Peter Obi and the Labour Party will relish their chances at the polls, an event that has not been wildly covered was the observance of a one-minute silence by political activist, Aisha Yesufu for the victims of the End SARS protest.

She paid her respect to the Nigerians who lost their lives at the Lekki Tollgate before she commenced her speech at the Tafawa Balewa Square.
