Thousands of people on Wednesday, February 8, gathered at the stadium to welcome the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar to Yobe state.

As part of his rally, the PDP made their way to the northern state to campaign for votes.

The charged crowd could not hold their excitement as they jumped for joy and waved at the incoming convoy of the presidential candidate.

In a video shared on social media, the crowd sang and chanted his name Atiku as the former vice president clapped and danced to the music in the background.

Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the state, Atiku in a Twitter post said; "Thank you Yobe"

"Moments ago, I arrived at the venue of our rally in Yobe State. Yobe is turbocharged and ready to RECOVER with PDP. -AA"
