Peter Obi breathes fire, sends strong message to FG over fuel scarcity, Naira notes shortage

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has called on President Muhammad Buhari to resolve the ongoing challenges facing Nigerians.

Few weeks ago, citizens begin to complain of the fuel shortages in their environs and presently scarcity of the new naira notes.

In a statement released on Thursday, February 2, Peter Obi decried the terrible state Nigerians are going through.

According to him, whiles on their campaign tour with his running mate he engaged with many residents who complained that they are terribly suffering..

He said:

"Top on the mentions are the biting fuel scarcity and the scarcity of the new naira notes. Nigerians, especially women and youths, are impacted negatively by the lingering shortage of both essentials to regular daily living.

"Today, Nigerians are feeling dehumanized more than they have felt before under a series of ineffectual governments, that failed to serve the interest of the people.

"I am worried about the impact these shortages are having on the lives of Nigerians, and small businesses, which are a significant force in the economy."
