NPFL Group A tougher than Group B - Golbe

Plateau United CB Elisha Golbe has revealed that Group A of the NPFL is much more difficult than the second group.

Golbe however does admit that the NPFL abridge format has been very competitive.

In a chat with FL the Plateau United skipper revealed that there are a lot of big teams in group A compared to group B, but it is not an excuse for poor performances.

“The reason why many people said that group A is harder than group B, because in group A there are a lot of big teams with pedigree in the league, but you know in Nigerian league there is no big or small team.

“When you look at the table you will see big teams down the table, so there is no too much comparison. You have to work harder to make sure you get you points but trying to compare the groups doesn’t matter.

“People say group A is harder, but, if you’re in group B and fail to perform, you’ll still get relegated.”
