2023 Presidency: Renowned pastor reveals candidates who may lose

The general overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, is of the view that Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party will not win the upcoming election.

Speaking in an interview, Bakare noted that should Peter Obi and Kwankwaso forged an alliance, the two would have been a force against the other political parties.

According to him, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party Atiku Abubakar’s influence will be a major contender for Obi and Kwankwaso.

He said;

“Imagine if Obi and Kwankwaso had put their differences aside and they forge a team that could be an alternative to these men of wealth, men of experience, who have been there all along, they would have been able to shake the system better than they are now doing as individuals running their race.

“They would have shaken the two frontline parties if they had put their houses together but right now, I do not see how much impact they would have in the election.”

Presiding over church service on Sunday, January 15, the clergyman also slammed the APC flagbearer saying, that a good politician does not ask others to answer questions posed at him.
