Aina returns to action in hard fought draw at Empoli

Empoli threw away a 2-0 lead to settle for a point against visiting FC Torino in the Serie A clash at the Stadio Carlo Castellani on Saturday.

The game saw another 90minutes for Tyronne Ebuehi (Empoli), while Olaoluwa Aina (Torino)made his return to action with a late substitution, after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

It was Empoli who raced into a two-goal lead after Sixty-nine minutes, but Torino rallied and in the final 10 minutes of the encounter Il Toro equalized.

In between the goals (82′, 85′), Olaoluwa Aina was introduced by Torino manager Ivan Juric in a tactical substitution.

Aina last featured for Torino in October before his injury and he missed nine matches across all competitions in that period.
