Anxiety as powerful APC governor falls sick?

The Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has dispelled rumours of ill health.

On Tuesday, January 17, Richard Olatunde, the chief press secretary to Akeredolu stated that the governor is healthy and that there is no cause for alarm.

His comment comes following some anxiety in the state regarding the Governor's health.

In the statement, Olatunde assured the people of Ondo state that Akeredolu was in good condition.

He added that the Governor like any other person is speedily recuperating from the health challenges as it is not an unusual one.

The chief press secretary also noted that Akeredolu continues to discharge his duty accordingly.

The statement reads in part:

"Since the Governor is not a super human and the immunity his office enjoys does not extend to physical wellness or otherwise, the health issue is therefore not an unusual one."
