Obidients tackle Reno Omokri for his attempt to link Peter Obi's townhall series to Tinubu Chatham House session

Supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party have jumped to the defence of their principal after Reno Omokri's attempt to drag him for a recent incident.

Reno, who is a leading member of the Peoples Democratic Party and a key member of Atiku's campaign accused the former Anambra governor of delegating questions directed at him at a recent event, following the steps of Bola Tinubu in Chathama House.

In wrote in a post on his official Instagram page: "After laughing at Tinubu, Obi copies him and delegates question to member of his Team"

Recall that Tinubu rather than answer questions bordering on Economy, health and security challenges instead assigned them to his surrogates.

Mr. Tinubu assigned the question on oil theft to one of his campaign spokespersons, Dele Alake; the question on security he assigned to Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna; and the question on youth development and inclusion to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River.

Reno's attempt to link Peter Obi to the actions of the APC presidential candidate didn't seat down well with supporters of the Labour Party.

What actually happened was that PO interacted with students about the importance of education and how his administration will solve the challenges in education. During the QA session, a young man asked PO 4 questions.

His last question was about how PO plans to change the narrative that education is a scam. Obi answered that particular question by saying that education is the biggest investment any nation could give its citizens and that education is not a scam. Even after answering all his questions, PO also gave a professor in the audience a chance to speak about the importance of education.
