Nigerian star, Leon Balogun, reveals that his former manager was to be blamed for his exit from the Ibrox Stadium.
Super Eagles star, Leon Balogun has attributed his exit departure from Rangers FC to ex-manager, Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Recall that the Nigerian international signed a contract with Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2022 after playing at Ibrox stadium for two seasons.
According to reports, he played under head coach Mick Beale at Ibrox, and Beale aided in moving to Loftus Road during the most recent transfer window.
However, the 34-year-old was keen to sign a new deal with the Scottish team because he had “fallen in love” with the Gers.
Leon Balogun says he felt “numb” before the game due to the last few days but the changing room is now “buzzing”.
Says he’s fallen in love with the club & that getting back up after being knocked down is what makes him & Rangers a good fit.
