Arise TV Rufai Oseni has slammed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress following his display at the Chatham House interview in London on Monday, December 5, 2022.

During the Chatham House interview with Bola Tinubu, he was seen delegating people to answer questions posed at him.

This infuriated several Nigerians as many expressed their displeasure at his action.

TV anchor, Oseni described Tinubu's behaviour as a disgrace to Nigerians. He called him a big joke for failing to answer questions and market himself well while representing Nigerians.

According to him, he feels ashamed as a Nigerian, although he has nothing against any presidential candidates but expects candidates to represent the country well in any gathering abroad.

"What I saw at Chatham House was a joke, it felt like a scene from Ghanaian comedian, Shatta Bandle. Its a big joke. Lets not deceive ourselves, we want a good country and we want people to say it. What nonsense! When have you seen Richard Sunak call people to come and answer question for him when he is debating the opposition leader at the primary answer and question time. Its time to call a spade a spade in this country, that was a disgrace on Nigeria as a country that a presidential candidate went to Chatham House, where he is suppose to express his idea, and he is calling people to answer questions that were asked at him.

...I feel ashamed as a Nigerian. I've got nothing against any presidential candidate but I am a Nigerian and when a Nigerian presidential candidate should go and make us proud at a public gathering abroad, they should also remember that people like us are Nigerians and anything they say about Nigerians oversees it robs us of our image," Oseni said.
