Ladan Bosso gushes over Flying Eagles progress

Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso is impressed with his side’s defending, after keeping three clean sheets in three friendlies matches so far.

The new look Flying Eagles defense is led by Dominion Ohaka, who recently joined the team ahead of next year’s U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.

Ohaka came with good experience as part of the U-23 team that defeated Tanzania during the Olympic qualifiers in October.

He also made Salisu Yusuf’s home based squad that played Costa Rica in San Jose, just before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

“He has the quality and he can play both on the right and left back positions, this means I can now pick an attacking player and not another defender on the final squad,” Bosso said after his side’s 7-0 win over Keffi Selected on Saturday.

The Flying Eagles have scored 17 goals in three friendlies and conceded none.

They’ll will resume training on Monday morning at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.
