Columbian coach Dorian Marin has slammed Super Eagles legend Austin Jay-Jay Okocha for his poor managerial skills.

The former Calabar Rovers coach claims he was once managed by the ex-Super Eagles captain, and the duo worked together for 18 months.

He accused Okocha of lacking basic interpersonal skills resulting in a rift between the ex-international and some of his relatives.

Marin also blamed Okocha for causing him three coaching opportunities as a result of his poor managerial skills.

“For a year and a half, I had Jay-Jay Okocha as my manager,” Marin told Sport as per Soccernetng.

“Great footballer, grade 10 for his playing career, but zero as a person!

“Because of him I lost not one, not two, but three offers! These were good clubs in South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe, and I did not understand why the talks were not being completed.

“Until someone from one of these clubs explained to me that they could not transfer to the team the four Nigerian footballers that I had requested. Except I wasn’t the one who requested them!

“I found out that now even Okocha’s brother doesn’t talk to him anymore!”

Okocha is undoubtedly one of Nigeria's greatest players of all time and one of the finest dribblers the world has ever seen.

He won the 1994 African Cup of Nations with Nigeria and was also an integral part of the Dream Team that won the Atalanta Olympics in 1996.

The former Bolton Wanderers midfielder is currently serving as a pundit on Super sports for their coverage of the 2022 World Cup games in Qatar.
