'This man sabi politic' - Reactions as Wike pledge logistics support for Kwankwaso after Peter Obi

Many on social media have reacted to Nyesom Wike's pledge to support the campaign of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso whenever he is in the state.

Wike made similar promises to Peter Obi, last week when the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) came to commission projects in the state.

Kwankwaso was in Rivers State at the instance of Wike to inaugurate the Mgbuitanwo internal road in Emohua LGA of the state.

Speaking during the event, Wike described Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), as a man of integrity and among the leaders that Nigeria needs.

"You are a man of integrity It is unfortunate we are not from the same party but God will help. People like you are what we need as a country. I have no apologies for anybody because I said it to Peter Obi when he came. And I also want to tell you that if you are coming for the campaign here, I will give you the logistical support, he said.

He, however, told Kwankwaso that it is difficult for any other party to win in Rivers State, therefore, it will be futile for him to waste resources, thinking any candidate of his party will win the election in the state.

Kwankwaso commended Governor Wike for engaging Julius Berger Nigeria PLC to deliver the best quality road in a rural community.
