Accident claims three lives in Ogun

A predawn accident on Lagos – Ibadan expressway has left three persons dead and three others with injuries.

The auto crash, which occurred around 05:45 a.m at AP turning point corridor of the Lagos – Ibadan expressway, involved six persons – four male adults and two female adults.

It was learnt that the lone accident involved a Toyota Sienna marked DKP60LG, which crashed due to loss of control and excessive speed after a tanker brushed it by the side.

Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) for Ogun State Sector Command, Superintendent Route Commander, Florence Okpe, who disclosed this on behalf of the Sector Commander, Umar Ahmed, said the
injured victims were taken to Idera Hospital for treatment while the remains of the dead were deposited at the same hospital morgue.

Florence Okpe quaoted the Sector Commander FRSC Ogun as commiserating with the crash victims and advised motorists to shun speed.
