Elderly man explodes after N1.5m vanishes from his Access Bank account, Nigerians call-out other banks

A disgruntled man has created a scene at the banking hall of an unidentified branch of Access Bank after the cash sum of N1.5 million mysteriously went missing from his account.

The elderly man who is yet to be identified was seen on the counter as he took off his shirt and sat down in protest.

Some customers and staff who were at the banking hall pleaded with him to seek redress in a different manner.

The video that has since gone viral has drawn reactions from the public.

Nigerians on social media have also used to opportunity to share their personal mishaps in some notable banks.

Robinson Akpu said: "I recall going to and fro Access Bank to clarify why over 300k disappeared from my account, just because I was doing a lot of transactions at the time, I couldn't tell if it was reversed but in the end. I just had to heal at home."
