Wike, PDP BoT to meet Tuesday

In a bid to resolve the crisis that is rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the party’s Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, in Port Harcourt on Tuesday by noon.

The governors of Enugu, Abia, Benue, and Oyo States are also expected to be at the meeting, a source stated.

The Rivers State governor has publicly demanded the removal of the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu as a pre-condition for him to support the presidential ambition of the PDP presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar.

All hell broke loose when Wike who himself was a presidential aspirant in the party failed to get the ticket, loosing to Atiku Abubakar.
