Nigeria's Olympic finalist in the Women’s 100m hurdles, Tobiloba Amusan said she is disappointed not to win a medal with the team

Amusan who had a good campaign finished fourth in Tuesday's finals behind Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico, Kendra Harrison of the United States, and Megan Tapper of Jamaica.

Speaking on she dealt with the disappointing outcome of the race, the 23-year-old said she was down for few hours, but had to remain positive and be ready to challenge again in the nearest future.

“It was heartbreaking, but I have learnt lot of lessons from the setback and i have to remained positive.”

“I was ready physically but I wasn’t ready mentally and I think I was mentally down but I will come back stronger,” she said.

Despite the disappointment, Tobi Amusan became the first Nigerian to reach the final of Women’s 100m hurdles at Olympic since Glory Alozie achieved the feat at Sydney 2000.
