Yoruba Nation rally holds as Police disperse crowd with water canon

Yoruba Nation agitators have commenced the rally in Ojota, Lagos.

The Yoruba Nation leader, Sunday Adeyemo Popularly known as Sunday Igboho announced yesterday, June 2, that the rally will hold as planned in Lagos despite the police ban.

The protesters thronged the streets of Lagos with their banners and fliers chanting the call for a Yoruba nation.

As the agitators voiced out their call through songs, heavy police personnel and vans arrived at the scene to disperse the crowd.

The police sprayed water at the crowd to dissolve the agitators.
