We are hungry and dying in Yobe - Soldier cries

A video is making rounds of a soldier crying over the poor remuneration they get after sacrificing their lives for the country.

According to him, since he and his colleague were transferred to Yobe in December, they are yet to receive any allowance.

The soldier bemoaned the deplorable state of their residence in Yobe state after it was attacked by gunmen.

He complained of hunger and the how they risk their lives to fight bandits and attackers often and still no support from the government.

The soldier pleaded with the government and benefactors to assist them so they can be well equipped to fights for the country.
